How UCS connects the platform

Niagara and NiagaraMods Reflow provide the owner-facing supervisory and graphics layer. ABB CBXi, FLXeon FBXi and FBVi controllers handle native equipment logic; CXproHD remains the platform engineering tool where ABB logic is programmed.

  • Flexible I/O and controller choices spanning plant, unitary and VAV applications.
  • Native IP terminal controllers can simplify trunks and improve service access.
  • Strong value for owners who want open integration beneath Niagara.

What to plan around

  • ABB controller logic still requires CXproHD skills and disciplined source-file management.
  • Mixed CB Line and legacy generations should be inventoried before a migration scope is fixed.
  • Native ABB front-end features do not always map one-for-one into Niagara; graphics and histories should be intentionally rebuilt.
  • Network addressing, routing and controller capacity need to be engineered—not assumed.
